Family Weekend – Newport, OR
February 5, 2016 - February 7, 2016
Family weekend with Creation Encounter Tours at the Oregon Coast.
When: February 5-7, 2016
Geology and Fossils of the Central Oregon Coast
This will be a special family weekend at the Oregon Coast led by your Creation Encounter guides. On this 3 day/2 night adventure, you will learn amazing evidences for God’s special creation and the Flood that you may never have imagined seeing at the beach. Highlights will include fossil hunting on the beach, seeing evidence for forests off today’s coast which were living during the Ice Age, evidence for a giant offshore earthquake about 300 years ago, a special Saturday evening program, a tour at the Whale, Sea Life & Shark Museum and the whale watching station in Depoe Bay, and of course lots of beach combing.
We have reserved only six 8-person yurts at South Beach State Park. But participants are welcome to reserve their own RV space (ASAP) or a motel room in nearby Newport. We have reserved a 47-person meeting hall for Saturday (Feb 6). There are limited spaces for this first come first served weekend, so if you are interested in this trip please register before January 15th by contacting John.

Ministry: Creation Encounter
Creation Encounter is a ministry brought forth from Design Science Association, an Oregon non-profit creation science organization. Through monthly meetings and creation-based outings, Design Science Association (DSA) demonstrates that true science is not in conflict with the Bible. Creation Encounter was established in 2008 to help DSA expand their creation field trip ministry.
