Mount St Helens East Side Excursion

Why not arrange to join us on one of our popular Excursions? This excursion will be on the East Side of the Volcano, and will start from Morton, WA (NOT the Creation Center). Please note this change of starting point, because our PDF excursion sheet says to start in Randle, WA. However, we will meet at Moreton, WA; there is a parking lot for a store (Del’s Feed and Farm Supply) between Airport Way and 2nd Street. That is our starting point, because there is a cellphone signal there. We will meet at 9:30am.

Please do not just show up. Please contact our office ahead of time, so that we have a good idea of how many vehicles to expect.

Also, note that the journey into the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, where most of this excursion is based, requires a park fee of $5 per vehicle. This is usually paid in cash at any of the parking lots, at which we stop. This fee is not required if you have any of the following: National Forest Pass, Inter-Agency Pass, Golden Age Pass, National Parks Pass. The pass must be displayed, so that it is visible through your vehicle’s windshield.
