For many years, geologists thought that the channeled Scablands and Dry Falls of Eastern Washington were carved out by gradual processes over many millions of years. Now it has been established that they were caused by a massive flood event. See deep canyons hundreds of feet deep carved in sold basalt rock, yet no flowing water is present! Discover the many evidences of the flood from Montana to the Willamette Valley in Oregon. We will examine the reluctance of the geological community to accept an alternate view to slow processes and long time frames (“the present is key to the past”). We will discuss how these sites support the catastrophic Biblical history of a world-wide flood.
We will illustrate that the face of the earth can be dramatically changed in a few minutes or hours. It doesn’t take millions of years! We will examine the outstanding example of these not well known events in our own back yard that over-shadow the scale and scope of the famous Mt. St Helen’s Eruption (even though the message is the same).
