Dinosaur and Agate Expedition – Glendive, MT
August 22 - August 24
Dinosaur and Agate Expedition with Patrick Nurre from Northwest Treasures in Glendive, MT.
WHEN: August 22-24, 2019
WHERE: Glendive, MT
CONTACT: Northwest Treasures
The Dinosaur and Agate Expedition is a 2-day, 3-night adventure near Glendive, MT. For two very packed days, we will be immersed in the fossils and geology of the Badlands of eastern Montana. We will spend a half day on a dinosaur dig, where you get to keep everything you find, with a few very special exceptions. In addition, we will spend time looking for Montana moss agates, carnelian agates, and petrified wood. This trip is not complete without a trip to the Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum in Glendive. This year, we are adding in a special class on fossil preparation in the lab at the museum. For each of the three evenings we are together, we will be talking about the implications of what we have found in the field and how that ties in to our Biblical world view.
