Over the years we’ve enjoyed classes, presentations, clubs and workshops with you and your families at our Geology Learning Center. Hundreds of children have had a unique, hands-on learning experience at our museum, and many families have lauded that inspirational & educational impact. But coming up in 2016, we’re moving to a new location and we need your help!
On November 7 we are having a very special evening to help raise support for our facilities move. We are calling it “Moving Mountains! – A GLC Gala! ” and we hope you can join us!
This event will take place at the Geology Learning Center in Mountlake Terrace, and will feature:
Free guided tours of the GLC with Patrick Nurre
Unveiling of our *NEW* life-size reproduction of T. rex skull
A silent auction
A buffet dinner catered by Qdoba
Special presentation by Paul Taylor, of the Mt. St. Helens Creation Center
All proceeds from the evening will go to help support the move, including acquiring cabinets, new displays, and so much more!
Remember, space is limited! We hope you’ll be a part of our monumental move by coming to our “Moving Mountains” GLC Gala Be sure to bring your friends who haven’t been to the Geology Learning Center before for this rare treat!
