Water Quality Assessment Field Trip with Christa Jewett on August 7, 2015 at James A. Rutherford Park of Boca Raton, FL.
When: August 7, 2015
This is a hands-on field trip for students that are in 4th-12th grade. It offers a biblically-based overview of environmental health and conservation or water resources. Students will learn how to collect water samples and analyze them for various parameters such as turbidity, dissolved oxygen and pH. Students will provided with all necessary field guides, study materials and equipment but must bring their own writing utensil. Participants will meet at James A. Rutherford Park in Boca Raton, FL. Students must bring their own water and snacks.
