Evolution: One of Science’s Best Supported Theories?
The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago boldly states that evolution is one of the science’s best supported theories. That means evolution is supposedly proven as true as the theory of gravity and Newton’s laws of motion. What evidence does the Field Museum offer to show their assertion is true?
This talk will take you through the Field’s Evolving Planet exhibit which traces their evolutionary view of earth history from the beginning about 4.5 billion years ago (they claim) until the present. Magnificent displays show key events in their view of the evolution of life. We will see beautiful images of these displays and critique how well their claim is supported that evolution is one of science’s best supported theories.
