COST: $20 per person (plus park expenses)
Expenses: There is a $6.00 per vehicle park admission fee (2-8 people per vehicle). Cash will be required to pay this fee at the park entrance.
ROCKY INTERTIDAL SURVEY – Participants will be led on a guided hike along Dania Beach and the fishing jetty where they will be given a biblical overview of the rocky intertidal zone ecosystem. We will climb on the rocks and search the beach for marine life before touring the jetty to view animals normally missed by the untrained eye. PLEASE COME PREPARED TO GET WET! All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent. Participants will meet at the far north parking lot adjacent to the jetty in Mizell-Johnson State Park (formerly John U. Lloyd Beach State Park) in Dania Beach, Florida (). Participants must bring their own water and snacks.
