COST: $20 per person (There is also a $6.00 per vehicle park admission fee (2-8 people per vehicle). Cash will be required to pay this fee at the park entrance.
Participants will meet at the far north parking lot adjacent to the jetty in Mizell-Johnson State Park (formerly John U. Lloyd Beach State Park) in Dania Beach, Florida
Participants will be provided with a biblically-based lecture on local sea turtle species and conservation efforts. They will also have the opportunity to review local sea turtle specimens provided by Mizell-Johnson State Park. Following the lecture, participants will be led on a beach walk to search for marine life in the wrack line. All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent. Participants must bring their own water and snacks.
