Geological Records: Do they support the Bible?
Do you have questions about the rock layers? Where did all the sediments come from? Why are fossilized dinosaur bones buried in the ground? How are fossils formed? Was there a global flood?
David Mikkelson, a paleontologist, experienced his first dinosaur dig when he was nine years old – and got hooked! He has been on and led several other dinosaur digs, including some with the Creation Evidence Museum and Adventure Safaris. David is working at the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum in Texas where he is continuing his studies for fossil preparation, restoration and replication.
Northwoods Creation Association is an association of people who want to know God better through understanding the Bible and Science. The Bible tells us that God is revealed in the natural world (Romans 1:20). So we will present the natural world to people in ways to help them better know God. Also, the secular world uses science to undermine faith in God. We will use science to help “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God” (2 Corinthians 10:5). Monthly meetings are held at the Conference Center of Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, Ashland, WI.
