The name of the presentation is Hydrophobia, and the message is all about examining the evidences that water formed many of the land-forms we see. The presentation contains seven marks of water deluge and dynamic pictures of unique terrain that will reveal connections that few have ever considered. Hydrophobia will systematically go through the evidences about what happened and compare them with traditional geological explanations.
Lastly, the presentation will glorify our Lord and inspire Believers to take the next step. I encourage you to bring your family and friends since all will be treated to an opportunity to get to know Wisconsin and beyond in a brand new way.
PS. For homework (since I am a teacher at heart) come to the meeting with thoughts of how the hill across the lake at Copper Falls State Park formed.
Speaker David Nelson says: I am an observer, ponderer, adventurer, teacher and most importantly a Born Again Believer that has come to not only embrace a young earth view but effectively defend it.
In no way shape or form did I ever consider speaking to Creation groups, as I was content being an Earth Science teacher at Wauwatosa East High School, but then it happened. In the year 2013, I experienced a tectonic shift, as a big part of my identity was rocked. I needed to make a decision about the future and that is when I clung to my faith and solely leaned on the Lord for guidance as I purged myself from the school system. During the last 5 years, the paradigm shift that I experienced was focused on how land-forms were created in catastrophic manners. I began to study first-hand what truly happened to Wisconsin and beyond through personal experiences in the Missoula Flood terrain, Alpine Glaciated areas in various parts of the West and Alaska as well as focusing most of my attention on Wisconsin, especially the Northern Kettle Moraine where I live. The educational training I had received at UW-Stevens Point and Northern Illinois, proved to not only be of little use, but completely antagonistic to what I have recently learned. To sum it all up, progressive scientists have dropped the ball on scientific integrity within the realm of earth science. Even more depressing is that many creationists have embraced aspects of progressivism; steering them away from the truth. The tool box progressives have utilized to influence society is all about the narrative, thus delusional. The reality of God’s strength utilizing water has left its mark everywhere for people to see.
Offering will be taken to offset cost.
