    Join Saltwater Studies in a clean-up of the John U. Lloyd Park beach. This is an excellent opportunity for students to practice biblically appropriate environmental stewardship and qualify for service hours. Trash bags will be provided. The park entrance fee is waived for all beach clean-up participants. Participants are welcome to bring lunch and enjoy the beach following the beach clean-up. All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent.

    Join Saltwater Studies for this exciting and educational Field Trip! Participants will be led on a beach walk to collect shells on beautiful Tigertail Beach in Marco Island. Known for its white sand beaches and stunning turquoise water as well as its abundance of marine life, this beach is a must-see hot spot of the Florida West Coast. The beach walk will be followed by a lunch break. After lunch, participants will be offered a biblically-based overview on the basics of shell identification and will be provided with assistance in identifying the shells they collected. All ages are welcome to attend although the beach walk is not recommended for small children. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent. This will be a long field trip that requires a lot of walking.
