WHERE:<\/strong> Na<\/span>val Academy Chapel CONTACT:<\/strong> info@TheStartingPointProject.com<\/p>\n While attending UW-Whitewater in 1985, Jay developed an interest in apologetics and creation science, largely due to the fact that all of his professors were evolutionists and some were atheists, and they were telling him that his Christian beliefs were wrong.<\/p>\n Fast-forwarding, Jay has now been speaking on creation, evolution and the authority of Scripture for over 31 years, having given over 2,000 presentations across the US and in 4 other countries as well. His ministry, The Starting Point Project, (formerly the Creation Education Center) is focused on strengthening the faith of believers and graciously challenging skeptics to know and understand the truths taught in God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n The biggest thing Jay has learned in all those years, is that we are ultimately dealing with a spiritual issue and not just an academic debate.
